What Causes These Side Effects?

These types of side effects are a result of:

  1. Allergy/Intolerance to the ingredients
    • Milk, wheat, and other Activia's ingredients are common allergens. But if you can consume ice cream or other types of yogurt without adverse effects, then the source of the side effects likely comes from the probiotics.
  2. Bad reaction to the probiotics, Bifidus Regularis
    • A reaction to the probiotics is the most likely cause of side effects experienced. Some people can handle only minuscule amounts of probiotics. To fully understand the causes behind the side effects of probiotics, please read this article.
